Summer Skies 2026 & FFDN
Dear Friends of Sampradaya,
Summer has arrived, and with it comes one of our favourite traditions - Summer Skies, our free outdoor festival celebrating dance, community, and connection. Now in its fifth year, we're thrilled to welcome some of Ontario's most exciting dance artists to the heart of Streetsville for a weekend of inspiring performances under the open sky.
This season also brings another milestone for Sampradaya. I am delighted to share that Sampradaya Dance Creations has been invited to perform at this year's Fall for Dance North Festival, Toronto, where we will celebrate the festival's theme of Dance Legacy with a special company showcase honouring the extraordinary legacy of our founder, Lata Pada, alongside the next generation of Sampradaya artists from our Academy.
Whether you're joining us this summer in Streetsville or cheering us on during the fall

Fall for Dance North 2026 is packed with joyful and powerful live performances: Olympic Champion ice dancer Tessa Virtue in her stage debut; FFDN original commissions from Sampradaya Dance Creations, Alyssa Martin with Rock Bottom Movement, and Carmen Romero; PLUS Canadian Premieres by the UK’s award-winning Liam Francis Dance Company, the legendary Claire Heggen - Théâtre du Mouvement, from Paris, France, and more!
