Based in Mississauga, Sampradaya Dance Academy welcomes students from across the Greater Toronto Area seeking high-quality Bharatanatyam training.
Sampradaya Dance Academy offers comprehensive Bharatanatyam training for children, youth, and adults through both its General Training Program and Professional Training Program. Rooted in a tradition of excellence, the Academy's curriculum is based on the ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, UK) Bharatanatyam syllabus, with Intermediate and Advanced students completing annual ISTD examinations.
Students’ progress through eleven years of study, developing technical proficiency, artistic expression, and theoretical knowledge. Upon completion of all six levels of ISTD exams, students may pursue their arangetram—a solo graduation recital directed by Ms. Lata Pada. Adult Bharatanatyam classes are also available for those wishing to explore the art form, with no previous dance experience required.
